• With other members: Your first name, ZIP code, profile photo, tool listings, and reviews are visible to other members in your ZIP code.
• Service providers: We work with third-party services for authentication (Supabase), payment processing (Stripe), identity verification, and infrastructure hosting. These providers only access information necessary to perform their services.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication via magic links and OAuth, and access controls on our database. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or compliance purposes. Rental agreement records and reviews may be retained in anonymized form.
